I’m on vacation with Kathy and her family in South Haven, Michigan. We’re in a house less than a block from the lake. The weather is beautiful.

Most important: It’s early July, and I’m in the westernmost part of the Eastern time zone during some of the longest days of the year. It doesn’t get dark until 10 p.m. Sunset is at about 9:30.

I’ve already confessed my obsession over summer daylight. So this, as you can imagine, is awesome.
