Get a life, you iPhone-crazy fools

I’ve heard enough about the iPhone. This must be the most overly hyped thing since Paris Hilton getting out of jail. (Good thing there’s something we can over-hype just about every single day.) Speaking of Paris Hilton, if you watched her interview on CNN last night, shame on you, because you have given in to the pandering of this nation’s mass media and their decision to prioritize the utterly irrelevant. Bob & Tom suck

I can’t stand the Bob & Tom radio show. If my radio happens to be on in the morning to a station that’s airing Bob & Tom, I am forced after about 30 seconds to change the station. Read the rest of this entry »

What? ‘Die Hard 4′ rated PG-13?

Well, it’s official. “Live Free or Die Hard” has been rated PG-13. There was a time when I could not fathom a “Die Hard” movie without an R rating, but given today’s climate, this PG-13 was inevitable. Birds must think I’m a complete asshole

A couple months ago on a Friday or Saturday night when I didn’t have to work the next day, I was wired, so I decided to go out for a late-night walk. When dot-com ventures turn personal

Here’s some food for thought: If you are running a web site, make sure that you maintain as much control over your domain name as you can. That sounds like a no-brainer, but I made a mistake back in 1999. I realized it later but I let it go for a long time (years) and I didn’t rectify that mistake until 2006. In trying to rectify it, I thought it was going to turn into a major pain in my ass. In the meantime, I almost unknowingly made an even bigger mistake. Read the rest of this entry »

Forget Paris

Hilton appeared to be in handcuffs when she was placed into a black-and-white patrol car, which sped away from her Hollywood Hills home with lights flashing. Paparazzi sprinted in pursuit and news helicopters pursued overhead, broadcasting live TV coverage.

It’s a goddamn tabloid orgasm. And it makes me want to puke. (Oh, in case you forgot: Anna Nicole Smith is STILL DEAD.) Read the rest of this entry »

Lennie for president

For those wondering where my blog has been, here’s a break from the silence. I was on vacation last week. In addition to driving about 1,100 miles, I finally got seriously cracking on a certain project that includes the word “Generation.” Read the rest of this entry »
